Internationally, Germany’s VET system is recognized as a successful model, which leads to high-quality vocational qualifications and enables smooth education-to-work transitions. This designed program aims to give you a comprehensive overview of the system of German VET.
We introduce you to most of the key concepts and ideas of German VET and its elements, like the dual system, vocational orientation or school-based initial training. Also you will get an overview of management requirements in VET and some of the management skills and approaches that you will need in instructional leadership, pupil management and the co-operative design of the relations between school and enterprise. It also contains practical suggestions, reference to transfer questions and should primarily contribute to the improvement of school management in vocational schools.
